The current paradigm of mass mobility is not perfect. Regardless if we improve our technologies by incremental change, the basic solutions of today have a huge toll of humans and earth resources. There is no green car, no road based individual or shared mobility system that does not create congestion and urban planning difficult for human living.
Podcar City is based on a very simple idea. We ask ourselves – Can we do better? If we have a clean slate and do mass mobility with current technologies – how would that like ? Can we learn from existing ideas and concepts, that does not exclude groups of people, that is available and safe, efficient, comfortable and can scale up?
We share ideas and thoughts in projects – and then we meet in seminars, conferences and discuss our findings. It is everything from urban planning, vehicle design, safety issues, earth resources, and everything we think matters. We invite everyone to participate regardless of background. We welcome you to be immersed in our work or if you like, just stay on the sideline and observe. Some of you help us with spreading our work, some support us financially and some of you have a very important talent that could benefit a project.
We do this for the future generations as it is the young who owns the future.
