Do you remember Cabinentaxi? A very interesting concept for over 40 years ago, a serious effort to address the issues of the private car and find better public mobility. Well, things are getting exciting. A similar but much better design and execution is now happening in Munich – Ottobahn! Read about the old test track below and see how much better implemented the Ottobahn concept is done. On top of that, we today have six different developments, all similar in design and concept.
PodcarCity.org is expecting to have the next conference in Munich this fall (October) where several similar vendors that will show up and initiate a industry consortium in support of Suspended Systems. The Podcarcity organization is supporting this effort and not only that, we are also launching the first youth meeting where young people are invited to be educated and supported in how a sustainable mass mobility for all could be executed.
