Podcar City 2017 – Las Vegas, USA

Podcar City - Conference 2017 - Las Vegas

November 6 update! Meet the speakers, see what all the talk on Autonomous Vehicles for Public Transit is about. Newsletter #4 has the final program and news about all exciting things that will happen in the next few days.

Should what happens in Vegas stay in Vegas? The speakers, keynotes and panels are coming together nicely for the 2017 Podcar City Conference. It will take place in the very special city of Las Vegas, November 8-10 2017. We will meet in the new City Hall (see image) and in the adjacent Golden Nugget Hotel.

This year we will incorporate the UIDC – Urban International Design Contest – into the conference. We expect a vast array of speakers and exciting topics around sustainable and innovative automated public transportation. Draft program is now available on the right side of this page. Please also follow us on Facebook for updates here! www.facebook.com/PodcarCity.

Program overview for 2017 plus new workshop for 2017!

Get started in autonomous public transit planning with our workshop! We will provide resources from students and experts for a design workshop on Wednesday. Try different options – Autonomous street vehicles, Personal Rapid Transit, see the visual effect, estimate financial and environmental impact – and much more. Bring all you got – ideas, questions and existing plans and we will make sure you get a team of people working with you.
